Top Gear Live has announced Tissot as its Official Timekeeper

Top Gear Live has announced Swiss watch maker, Tissot, as its Official Timekeeper on the all-new indoor tracks at Birmingham and London this November.

Tissot, with its signature 'Innovators by Tradition' delivers timekeeping to prestigious sporting events across the world and will capture split-second time separations as The Stig, Sabine Schmitz, Derek Bell and a host of famous faces race around the unique, Lotus Motorsport-configured tracks.

The brand, which has over 150 years experience in quality watch making and who pioneered touch screen technology in the watch industry will also be showcasing its new Racing Touch watch at the event.

As celebrities and professionals race around the tracks, it is likely to get competitive and Tissot will offer an exemplary timekeeping service to ensure there are no arguments on the leaderboards.

Both the B-20 Raceway at the NEC and the Docklands GP at ExCeL will be hosted by Tiff Needell, forming the centre of the new Top Gear Live format. The tracks will feature highlights from the TV show, including Stig power laps and ‘Star In a Reasonably Priced Car’, as well as the Top Gear Stunt Team, Sabine Schmitz head-to-heads and supercar parades.

Visitors to Top Gear Live will not only get to see the Lotus-configured track, but will also gain entry to the Live Action Arena, hosted by Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, bringing the spectacular TV series to life.

Top Gear Live takes place this November at Birmingham’s NEC (11-13) and ExCeL London (24-27).
